MVRC teams up with VSP Global to offer free eye care for vets

CINCINNATI, Ohio (July 11, 2017) – Sparky’s American Motorcycles in Monroe will be hosting a Sneek Peek Party with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Military Veterans Resource Center, Saturday and Sunday, July 15-16.
According to the Sparky’s website, this special “Sneek Peek” event will introduce you to 12,000 square feet of music, motorcycles and mayhem. Sparky’s is located at 316 N. Main St., in Monroe.
The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Monroe Mayor Robert E. Routson and members of the Monroe City Council will cut the ribbon at noon on Saturday.
There will be food, beer provided by Miller-Coors, and live music provided by Kleiner Callahan, the Amy Sailor Band and Dallas Moore among others.
Sparky’s will have specials on all inventory throughout the store and will have Its NHRA Top Fuel Harley, the Monroe Police Department’s drag race car and the City of Monroe’s antique fire truck on display both days.
A portion of the proceeds from the weekend’s events will benefit Military Veterans Resource Center.
Military Veterans Resource Center helps veterans develop self-reliance and independence by providing access to the resources they need to successfully manage life transitions. It is based in Columbus and operates four resource centers in Hamilton, Dayton, Columbus and Chillicothe.
