TRENTON, Ohio (Aug. 24, 2016) – On Saturday, Sept. 10, motorcyclists are invited to join MillerCoors at their 12th annual UAW 2308 Motorcycle Bike Run to support local veterans. The Bike Run spans 90 miles, during which riders will be escorted by the Oxford Police Department and the Butler County Sheriff’s Office. Riders will be asked to donate $20 per motorcycle, with all proceeds benefitting Military Veterans Resource Center (MVRC) of Butler County, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides services to veterans, service members and their families.
“$20 will provide 80 meals for hungry veterans and their families,” said MVRC Executive Director Len Proper. “We’re grateful to MillerCoors for their commitment to helping veterans in their community.”
Riders interested in participating in the Bike Run can register at MillerCoors Trenton Brewery on the morning of Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The bike run will start at 1 p.m., with a party at the Indian Creek Tavern in Reily, Ohio to follow, including food, door prizes, music and a raffle.
“We’re proud to support service members through Military Veterans Resource Center,” said Denise Quinn, MillerCoors Trenton Brewery Plant Manager. “We’re happy to have the opportunity to give back to the community in which we live and work.”

The MillerCoors Trenton Brewery opened in 1991 and is one of eight Miller Coors breweries in the United States. As of 2015, 510 employees brew up to 11 million barrels of beer each year. Many employees of the Trenton Brewery are veterans, and giving back to vets is an important cause to the team. UAW Local 2308 and the MillerCoors Trenton Brewery have successfully raised more than $50,000 for various veteran-based organizations since their first motorcycle Benefit Bike run in 2005.
