Military Veterans Resource Center announces new location for Ross County center

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (June 24, 2016) – Military Veterans Resource Center’s (MVRC) Ross County Resource Center has moved to a new and larger location. Starting Monday, June 27, Military Veterans Resource Center will serve veterans out of their new office at 631 Central Center, Chillicothe, Ohio. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with earlier and later appointments available at the request of the veteran.

Military Veterans Resource Center helps veterans develop self-reliance and independence by providing access to the resources they need to successfully manage life transitions. MVRC provides veterans and families employment services, food assistance, transportation assistance, confidential counseling and other supportive services.

“We needed to expand our office space so that we can better serve Ross County veterans,” said MVRC Executive Director Len Proper. “The new location has private offices that provide more confidentiality when we meet with veterans and offers a larger, more comfortable space where vets and families can mingle.

For more information about Military Veterans Resource Center, or to make an appointment, call Brandon Taylor at 740-835-5145 or Dennis Lambert at 740-571-4555.
