Free counseling now provided for vets, spouses at Military Veterans Resource Center

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE COLUMBUS, Ohio (July 12, 2016) – Military Veterans Resource Center (MVRC) is pleased to announce that Ryan Sargent, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), has accepted a full-time position and will be providing free confidential counseling to veterans, service members and spouses. Sargent specializes in personal and social counseling, diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional disorders, and career and educational counseling. He is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with earlier and later times available at the request of the veteran. The service is offered at all four MVRC locations. “Bringing a counselor on the team has been a goal for a long time, and we’re grateful to have Ryan here as another resource for veterans going through a tough time,” said MVRC Executive Director Len Proper. Sargent is an Army veteran, a former firefighter, and has 16 years of experience working in a corporate business environment. He graduated with his licensing credentials from the University of Dayton in May 2015. Before joining Military Veterans Resource Center, he practiced for two years at Zeller & Associates, LLC EAP.
