Show Mom you care by spending some quality time together. All of the following activities are fun for families and can be cost effective with your discount.
Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden Moms will receive free admission to the Cincinnati Zoo on Mother’s Day. Show your military ID any other day and adults receive $3 off admission and children receive $2 off admission. The military discount is valid for immediate family members only.
Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Moms will receive free admission to the Cleveland Zoo on Mother’s Day. On any other day, the Cleveland Zoo offers a military discount for the service member or veteran and up to six people in the group. For more details, call 216-635-3310.
Columbus Zoo and Aquarium Moms can enjoy free admission at the Columbus Zoo on Mother’s Day with one paid child’s or grandchild’s admission ticket. The regular military discount is $2 off admission for current and former service members and up to six people in their family. Proof of service must be presented.
Toledo Zoo Mothers will receive free admission to the Toledo Zoo with one paid child’s admission ticket on Mother’s Day.
Newport Aquarium Active and retired military personnel, spouses and dependents are eligible for a military discount on admission. Adults receive $3 off tickets and children receive $2 off tickets with proof of service.
The Wilds Current and former military personnel receive free admission on the Safari Transport tour and the Open Air Safari tour. The Wilds Zipline tour offers $10 off to military members. For more details, call 740-638-5030.
Ohio History Connection Active service members, veterans and their dependents receive $2 off admission. The Ohio History Connection including many of its affiliate museums and historical sites, participates in the Blue Star Program, which offers free admission to active duty personnel and their families Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame A military discount is available for active duty service members and retired veterans with proof of service.
These popular retailers also offer military discounts, but it’s recommended to call ahead. Some local retailers may not participate in national discount programs.
Banana Republic Active service members and veterans receive 15% off full-priced items in-store only. Proof of service required.
Bed, Bath & Beyond Print this coupon and get 20% off your in-store purchase through May 30.
Cabela’s Cabela’s Legendary Salute offers a 5% discount to active and retired service members and VA recipients.

Old Navy Every Monday is “Military Monday” where active duty military, retired veterans and dependents can receive 10% off their purchase with proof of service.

Under Armour Active service members, veterans, spouses, dependents and first responders receive a 10% online discount at Under Armour. Troops ID verification is required.
Yankee Candle Active and retired military service members and immediate family members can receive 10% off their purchase in stores and online. The military discount can be combined with other coupons.
