HAMILTON, Ohio (May 17, 2016) – On Monday, May 16, employees of the Miller Coors Brewery of Trenton, OH awarded Military Veterans Resource Center (MVRC) a $1,000 donation to help veterans in Butler County. This donation follows the $1,000 donation in gas cards and 200 lbs. of food Miller Coors employees already delivered to MVRC in 2016.
Accepting the donation was Veterans Services Specialist Dan Dunaway of MVRC’s Hamilton office, which is located at 633 High St., Ste 101. The Hamilton office is open Monday through Friday to help veterans and families and can be contacted at 513-252-2395.
“We’re humbled by the generosity of the Miller Coors employees and grateful for their commitment to veterans in the community,” said MVRC Executive Director Len Proper. “Because of their donation, we’ll be able to serve more veterans who need help.”
The Trenton brewery opened in 1991 and is one of eight Miller Coors breweries in the United States. As of 2015, 510 employees brew up to 11 million barrels of beer each year. Many employees of the Trenton brewery are veterans, and giving back to vets is an important cause to the team.
Military Veterans Resource Center helps veterans develop self-reliance and independence by providing access to the resources they need to successfully manage life transitions. MVRC is based in Columbus and operates four centers throughout Ohio.
