Veterans Resource Fair and free eye exams/glasses for veterans/spouses

In honor of National Military Appreciation Month, Military Veterans Resource Center is hosting a Veterans Resource Fair.
The Columbus VA Mobile Clinic will be on hand to provide free general health screenings and access to VA health care. The Franklin County Veteran Service Commission's mobile outreach van will be on site as well as several other veterans groups with information on their programs. Enjoy a free BBQ lunch with all the fixings on us!
Also, through VSP Mobile Eyes program, you can get a comprehensive eye exam and glasses at no cost through VSP Global's mobile clinic (by appointment only). Glasses will be made on site with the exception of more complicated prescriptions. Call 614-230-0662 to schedule.
- Veterans (includes reserve/guard and spouses) must have proof of service (DD214, VA ID, Veterans ID). Spouses must have a dependent ID of some kind.
- Family income must be at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level.
- Haven't received eye care through a VSP program during the last 12 months.
- Must not be covered under the VA eye care or any other insurance, including Medicare, Medicaid etc.
