According to our friends at Interview Skills 101, 65% of bosses say clothes could be the deciding factor between two similar candiates. Ladies and gentleman, I didn't make a typo. If a hiring manager's decision comes down to you and another candidate who brings the same skills to the table, there's a good chance that your interview outfit will make or break the deal.

Your appearance matters. Plan your interview outfit the day before the interview, not one hour before. Ask a friend or relative for their opinion just to make sure you're on the right track.

If you're a female job seeker, MVRC is giving you some extra help this week. Our Marketing Team has put together this infographic that highlights appropriate and inappropriate interview attire. Follow these steps and you'll impress the hiring manager with your professional style!
